FICA Members, Clubs, Chapters and Center affiliates can choose to participate in one or more of the FICA Special Training Programs being held throughout the year including the following: the Future Investors Winning on Wall St. "Financial Pep Rally", Financial Whiz Kids Challenge & Competition, Young Investors Club, Young Analyst Club, Young Executives Club, and the FICA Financial Leadership Training Tours. Future Investors Club programs require members to pass an exam in order to proceed to the next level of training. The FICA development strategy entails establishing Clubs, Chapters & Centers in cooperation with elementary, middle, and high schools. Our strategy also includes youth groups, magnet and charter schools. FICA instructors are licensed professionals and or teachers who have been trained to present the FICA curriculum in a fun and exciting way. FICA's leadership believes that all youth should begin learning about finance and business at the earliest age possible. The FICA Financial Whiz Kids Challenge & Competition training program consists of 4 high-energy workshops (14-16 hrs) including the Future Investors Winning On Wall St. Kickoff program, Financial Whiz Kids Workshops 1 & 2 and the awesome Financial Whiz Kids Competition. Financial Whiz Kids explore the world of personal finance and topics such as: Financial Terminology, Insurance & Banking, Financial Planning, Investment Terminology, Investing In Stocks, Annuities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Online Trading, Financial Web-sites, Career and Credit Management and more! After completing the FICA curriculum students get a chance to display their knowledge at the full day FICA Financial Whiz Kids Competition. FICA's Young Investors Club consist of numerous workshops presented in a fun, exciting and informative way. This comprehensive training program is designed to provide more extensive FICA led training and to teach youth about the world of financial markets. In addition to attending the Winning On Wall St. "Financial Pep Rally," Young Investors learn about the following: Financial Terminology, Insurance & Banking, Financial Planning, Investment Terminology, Investing In Stocks, Annuities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Online Trading, Financial and Business Web-sites, Career and Credit Management and Starting an Investment Club. In addition, Young Investors learn the importance of Teaming Up, the Ten Commandments of Success, Five Laws of Gold and the Thirteen Steps Towards Riches. Young Investors training also includes fun and informative field trips. Each student is required to take and pass the YIC/BFIT competency examination in order to receive a FICA YEC Certificate of Completion.

Visiting NYSE since 1998. To enhance the learning experience of FICA members a annual Financial Leadership Training program is held in New York. Students attend several workshops and attend a training session at the New York Stock Exchange. The New York Stock Exchange traces its origins back more than 200 years, to the signing of the Buttonwood Agreement by 24 New York City stockbrokers and merchants in 1792. Centuries of growth and innovation later, the NYSE remains the world's foremost securities marketplace. Over the years, its commitment to issuers and investors has been unwavering, and its persistent application of the latest technology has allowed it to maintain a level of market quality and service that is unparalleled. Each day on the NYSE trading floor an auction takes place. Exchange members acting on behalf of institutions and individual investors manage open bid and offers on The Trading Floor. Buy and sell orders for each listed security meet directly on the trading floor in assigned locations. Prices are determined through supply and demand.

FICA "specializes" in using the world of finance/business intelligence training to help students "Make The Connection" between the real life skills needed to succeed in their core curriculum of Math, Reading and Writing. The FICA Making The Connection Regional Conference & Exposition will serve as an excellent resource for parents, students and teachers. FICA members and the general public will be invited come learn about Starting a Business, Careers, Investments, Technology and more! In addition students and parents will have an opportunity to learn the benefits of a college education by meeting with representatives from some of America's top Colleges and Universities. The conference & exposition is designed to be one of the culminating events of our annual training programs and will consists of one full week of community activities. The goal is to provide attendees with the "best information on the planet" in a fun, exciting and high-energy educational training environment. The Making the Connection Conference morning session begins with our nationally famous "Financial Pep Rally (FPR)." The FPR is a creative and unique training program that helps gets attendees in the proper frame of mind for the workshops & exposition. Attendees answering questions correctly get an opportunity to win special prizes such as CD players, Board Games, Software, Savings Bonds, Computers and more!

The FICA Awards Banquet is designed to provide members the opportunity to be recognized for superior academic achievement and community service. Members who excel in the FICA Training and Club Programs are recognized at the annual FICA Kids "Best on the Planet Awards Banquet." In addition, the FICA Kids Winners Club membership is an exclusive group of members who have through participation at FICA programs distinguished themselves by answering questions and where award prizes such as Board Games, Tee-shirts, Cash, Electronics, and more! Under the FICA Kids Winners Club we will be establishing several Trust Initiatives designed to provide students the opportunity to become savers and investors.

The Osaka Securities Exchange is one of Japan's oldest and most respected securities exchanges. Its predecessor, the Osaka Stock Exchange, was established in 1878, together with the Tokyo Stock Exchange as a profit-making corporation, under the Stock Exchange Law of the same year. In 1943, as an emergency measure to control the war-time economy, Japan's then existing eleven stock exchanges were consolidated into one semi-government corporation called the Japan Securities Exchange. The Osaka Stock Exchange became its Osaka Division. This unified Exchange, however, suspended operation in August 1945 when the Pacific War came to an end and finally dissolved in April 1947. Today the Osaka Exchange is one of the worlds largest.
