Fun, Exciting and Informative Financial Intelligence Training

Future Investor Clubs of America, Inc., has designed a system to provide individuals, schools and groups with the tools needed to establish a comprehensive financial and business intelligence-training program. Future Investors Club of America programs includes but yet goes beyond introductory consumer economics and simulated games.

FICA programs provide students with comprehensive financial and business intelligence training including real life skills. FICA financial and business intelligence training programs adheres to the philosophy that "becoming wealthy takes practice!" There are five main training components associated with the FICA financial intelligence practice training system, they are: Basic Financial Intelligence Training (BFIT), Advanced Financial Intelligence Training, Executive Financial Intelligence Training (EFIT), International Financial Intelligence Training (IFIT) and Leadership Financial Intelligence Training (LFIT)!
Schools or groups with budgets of $1,000.00 or less will find that they are able to join or start a FICA Club and select the appropriate FICA Special Training Program that fits within their budget. FICA Individual Members, Clubs, Chapters and Centers that can afford to invest more, will have a choice of additional Special Training Programs, Workshops, Materials, Summer Camps and Financial Leadership Training Tours. FICA Clubs consist of 10-25 members and FICA Chapters have 26-100 members. FICA Centers have 101-200 members.


How to Join or Start A Club, Chapter or Center.


FICA Members, Clubs, Chapters and Center affiliates can choose to participate in one or more of the FICA Special Training Programs being held throughout the year including the following: the Future Investors Winning on Wall St. Kickoff, Financial Whiz Kids Challenge & Competition, Young Investors Club, Young Analyst Club, Young Executives Club, and the FICA Financial Leadership Training Tours. Future Investor Clubs programs require members to pass an exam in order to proceed to the next level of training. The FICA development strategy entails establishing Clubs, Chapters & Centers in cooperation with elementary, middle, and high schools.


Step 1. Join as an Individual or Recruit a Few Friends


Recruit 5 or more people to help you get the Club, Chapter or Center up and running.


Step 2. Find a Lead Teacher Sponsor


Find a sponsor. Your ideal candidate is likely to be a member of the faculty/staff who has:

  • A strong commitment to working with youth and is well respected among the students.

  • Experience in the basics of finance (often a mathematics, economics, or social studies teacher).

Step 3. Get Approval from Your School Administration


Find out what requirements your high school has for starting a club, chapter or center program. This is especially important if you want to use resources such as meeting rooms and permission to hold your events on school campus. Your school may also require you to have:


  • A Club, Chapter or Center Agreement
  • Club Leadership Team
  • A Club Sponsor

Step 4. Register Your Club with by completing our Agreement and Terms of Services

Join as an Individual or Register your Young Investors Club, Chapter or Center, http://www.ficaconnect.com

  • Upon registration, you or your club sponsor will be sent a YIC user name and password to access the members only network. Your club will also be asked to submit your Club, Chapter or Center Name at which time you will be assigned a registration number.

Some effective ways to recruit new members:

  • Advertise on your social media networks
  • Set up a booth at your school’s club week
  • Reach out to friends
  • Post fliers in busy parts of the school, such as the cafeteria
  • Place an ad in your school’s newspaper

Step 5. Schedule Club Meetings

  • Invite all your prospects and leadership team to your meeting
  • Login into the Members Only Portal
  • Discuss the reasons and benefits of joining the club.
  • Make sure each students is properly registered with the club home office
  • Each student must begin with Basic Financial Intelligence Training (BFIT)
  • Schedule upcoming meetings.

Step 6. Meet on Regular Basis

YIC Clubs, Chapters and Centers meet a minimum of once per month. Meetings may be held more or less often depending on up coming special training events and programs.

Start A FICA Club:

Start A FICA Center:


The FICA Learning Centers program development strategy entails establishing community based facilities in cooperation with local business leaders, sponsors, elementary, middle, and high schools. Our strategy also includes youth groups, magnet, and charter schools. Also participating, are parents and students attending universities and colleges. Through its Special Training Programs, FICA has trained thousands of youth and adults throughout America. FICA instructors are licensed professionals and/or teachers who have been trained to present the FICA curriculum in a fun and exciting way, that keeps members motivated to learn. FICA's leadership believes that all youth should begin learning about finance and business at the earliest age possible. If you agree, then join us by getting adults, collegians and youth under your leadership involved in this exciting and comprehensive educational opportunity so that we may continue "Training Tomorrow's Investors Today." FICA Centers are required to sign a FICA Center Agreement, pay the appropriate Leadership Training, Registration and Development fees.

 

FICA Learning Centers are required to register a minimum of 101-200 members for selected training program(s). All youth members must be ages 8-19, have good behavior, reading, math and writing skills. Adult memberships are also accepted at the learning centers for special training programs. All members are required to attend the selected FICA training program(s), maintain good membership standing status.
